Amelia Ray is a non-fiction filmmaker and camera woman hailing from Birmingham, AL. The granddaughter of dairy farmers and Appalachian musicians, she is interested in the distinctly Southern.
She holds a BFA in Film/Television with a minor in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work has been supported by the Alabama State Council on the Arts and The Southern Documentary Fund and featured by The Video Consortium, Beyond the Short, Boooooom, and C41 Magazine. She is currently based in the Southeast.
